ACANTHUS LEAF WORKSHOP - FOR SPRING CONFERENCE 2022 ATTENDEES ONLY

Registration for the Spring Conference is required

Pre-registered participants have first priority. If there is space left, you can sign up at the workshop. There is an extra fee for each workshop that will cover the extra materials cost for those interested in the hands on portion. All conference attendees are welcome to watch the demo and seating will be provided.

COST: For anyone that is attending Spring Conference - $10

DESCRIPTION:

Carol de Maintenon will walk folks through forging an acanthus leaf over vise-mounted stakes, using specialized leafing and forming hammers. She will continue to finish the formed leaf by gilding the metal using thin foil sheets, similar to work found at historical sites. Fee will cover the material costs.
