MEALS: Lunch is on your own and you can pack a lunch or head into town is right over the freeway where there are plenty of choices.
Pot luck Dinner will be about 5:00 with CBA providing Hamburgers. There will be a sign up for what to bring circulated the beginning of January with choice of beverage, side dish and dessert.
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
What: We have lots to pick from and something for ALL skill levels from beginner to professional.
Site 1: Dan Perkins and team will be teaching a hands-on workshop on forging bottle openers, heart hooks and other fun items. Bring the tools you have and get in the fire.
Site 2: We are kicking off the CBA Darryl Nelson Bear Head online series with Mark Aspery, John Williams and Victoria Ritter by teaching a hands on workshop of the Darryl Nelson style bear head and the tooling that supports the project. Now is a perfect time to get some great one on one instruction on this fun project.
Site 3: The focus for the more advanced smiths in our family is working with a popular architectural metal: Silicon Bronze. Celeste Flores will be showing us the in /outs of this material with a project to be announced. There’s sure to be an opportunity for participants to help bring her project to life.
Site 4: If the above isn’t enough, you can help out Jake Trogdon as he leads a team to build portable stands for the CBA trailer leg vices or Paul Boulay as he finishes up the motor mounts on the Toby Hickman power hammer.
