Vista Forge is pleased to announce a unique Blacksmithing event!
Blacksmith Flavio Parra Ortiz from Chile will be at Vista Forge to demonstrate forging a human face from a 3’ x 3’ piece of 3/16 inch steel. This sculpture will be on permanent display at the Hollywood Sculpture Garden.
On Saturday, August 21st, Flavio will host a one-day forging workshop demonstrating how to use angle-iron to forge human figures.
On Saturday evening we will have a tri tip dinner, with blacksmithing games and midnight madness forging.
