2ND SESSION - CHASING AND REPOUSSE WITH DOUGLAS PRYOR

Continuing the CBA Online Lessons Initiative with a 3 Session class led by leading craftsman Douglas Pryor.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Open to all levels, no prior chasing experience required.

SUPPLIES: A detailed supply list will be provided. The first session will include instruction on making your own tooling.

LOCATION: Online live streaming via Zoom - Login and password will be provided once you have registered. Participants will be able to share their work and get help with their challenges between sessions.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

1st Class:

Class overview, details on tooling and materials. Getting started on the class project. Transferring the design to the metal, creating volume.

2nd Class:

Getting into the project. Gathering and refining. Embossing the shapes.

3rd Class:

Sculpting and plannishing. Adding details and finishing up.

Doug has written a detailed handout with instructions that’s thoroughly illustrated with photos and drawings that will provide a guide to participant’s practice.
