This is a fundraiser as well as a great opportunity to learn from one our CBA members. Francis has been smithing for 26 years and runs a shop just outside Davis, CA. He does commission work and teaches his utensil workshop on a regular basis. Francis is well known for his hand forged kitchen utensils. He has repeatedly been juried into the prestigious American Crafts Council Show at Fort Mason.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
This virtual workshop features Francis Leidinger as he shares his Kitchen utensil designs and walks us through how to make the Spatula. These concepts are easily applied to other Kitchen utensils such as the spoon, ladle or even a fork. He will show you his preferred materials, tools and how to make a kitchen spatula from beginning to end. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the presentation. There is a handout that will be sent with the zoom invitation.
