EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Many of us are missing our CBA family and friends. Not sure just when we will be able to share and learn from our fellow smiths in person so in the mean time will be hosting a series of informal round table Presentations and Chats using zoom.
“Let’s talk Design” is a series of photo presentations with discussion about design to be held one week apart (4 total). Join our raw and real conversation with three accomplished blacksmiths: Lynda Metcalfe, Victoria Patti and Ellen Durkan. Each smith will go over their process as they take a piece from an idea to a finished design for a piece of metal art. Each session will conclude with question and answer time giving each participant a chance to chat with the smiths. These three informal presentations will be followed by a final bonus session where all three come back and form a panel discussion combining their shared knowledge.
