Silver Spoons class at Adam's Forge planned for Saturday and Sunday, January 18-19, 2020  This is the class we have all been waiting for!  Artist blacksmith Jay Burnham Kidwell will demonstrate making a silver ingot then teach students how to transform those ingots into silver spoons by hot forging and planishing. Jay says: "They’ll be walked through the process, and then watched as closely as I am able, so that they can realize a successful learning experience and make a functional piece of flatware."   Students enrolled in this class will receive a pre-measured silver ingot and planishing head made from a railroad spike or bolt. Jay’s classes are always entertaining and educational.
