Adam's Forge will be hosting a two-day workshop led by Jay Burnham-Kidwell on the 19th and 20th of January. He'll be teaching sinking and raising hollow forms. I've included some of the course description below.
Through a combination of group and one-on-one instruction, Jay will teach the principles of layout, material preparation, annealing, pickling, sinking, blocking, bouging, regulating and truing, angle raising, planishing and finishing. Students will create copper hollow forms from sheet metal to make functional or non-functional forms utilizing hammers and stakes.
