Low-Relief Chasing

COST: $150/person. 12-15 student limit. Deposit of $50 to hold your place, balance due on day of class.

Small hammers - 1 and 1 1/2 pound for
chasing, larger hammer for forging chisels. Small
hammers are a must to avoid injury. An
assortment of files, 6in. long work best in this
case. Safety glasses, etc. If you have a favorite
tool steel feel, free to bring it - stock provide.

Chase designs/images on plate (1/8” or thicker) and/or solid stock. Learn the basics of low-relief tool/chisel making, and chasing designs. The class project will be chasing a design on 1/8” copper plate.
