Bladesmithing with Tony Swatton.
Come watch Tony make two knives, and make one knife for yourself in the hands-on portion of the weekend.

DATE: Sept 24-25, 2016

TIME: starts with breakfast at 7:30 on Saturday

LOCATION: Lake Mathews

COST: $100 for the weekend, $70 for Saturday only, for those preregistered by September 15. For late registration, add $20.  Includes meals on Saturday and Sunday. Additional fee to purchase 5160 knife stock.  Please RSVP/register in advance.

Tony will demonstrate making two knives. One will be an integral twist rat tail grip patch knife with hollow ground edge, the other will be a damascus dagger that I will make with a forged bronze hilt and pommel and a carve spiral grip inlaid with twisted brass wire.  Participants in the hands-on portion of the workshop will make the patch knife. Participants can either buy the 5160 from Tony, or bring their own stock.
