Introductory Knife Making Workshop

DATE: March 12-13, 2016

DEMONSTRATORS: Dave Carroll & Beth Holmberg

COST: $80 Saturday only, $100 Saturday & Sunday, $10 Dinner (grilling burgers at the barn)

DESCRIPTION:

SATURDAY

Iron Age knife - Beth will demonstrate how to make a Kvinde Kniv.
Forge welded wire cable Damascus billet - Dave will demonstrate how to weld braided wire cable to make a Damascus billet

SUNDAY

Open forge with instructor guidance - Turn your billet into a blade. Tools needed for hands-on: forging hammer, cross-peen, & hot-cut. Safety glasses & hearing protection required.
